We are proud to announce the launch of a new collaboration between PMI Tunisia Chapter and AWGHO (AWGHO: African Alliance For Women’s health in oncology), within the framework of the Project Managers Without Borders ( PMWB ) program .

 PMWB is a global social impact program initiated by PMI, leveraging the power of professional project management to support NGOs and nonprofits in delivering sustainable, high‑impact initiatives. The program is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) , positioning project management as a concrete enabler of social and economic development.

At PMI Tunisia Chapter, the PMWB program is strategically led by the Vice President of Membership & Volunteers Mona Zbidi, PMP, PMI-RMP I VP Membership PMI Tunisia who also serves as the PMWB Chapter Leader, ensuring strong governance, volunteer engagement, and alignment with PMI’s global vision for social impact.

 As part of this collaboration, PMWB Tunisia team has officially started delivering project management training sessions to AWGHO staff, focusing on strengthening core project management competencies, promoting best practices, and equipping teams with practical tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects more effectively. These capacity‑building sessions aim to embed a project mindset within the organization and support long‑term sustainability.

This collaboration with AWGHO represents more than a partnership—it is a commitment to empowering communities, strengthening NGO capabilities , and transforming meaningful missions into well‑structured, outcome‑driven projects. By combining PMI’s global standards and professional expertise  with AWGHO’s community‑focused action, we aim to create impact that is measurable, scalable, and sustainable.

Through PMWB, skilled volunteer project managers  will support AWGHO in enhancing project planning, governance, and execution—helping ensure that every initiative delivers real value where it matters most.
